The primary objective of the Decryptify: Passwords & Acronyms Challenge was to enhance students’ logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and awareness about password security and commonly used technical acronyms. The event aimed to blend learning with fun through a competitive yet engaging environment.
The session began with a brief introduction by the II Year Students Hemalatha, Divya & Anushya, highlighting the importance of cyber security and the role of strong passwords in protecting digital identities. Participants were also introduced to the significance of understanding technical acronyms for improving their technical vocabulary.
The challenge was divided into two segments:
Password Cracking Round – Students solved clues, riddles, and pattern-based hints to guess secure passwords within a given time.
Acronym Decoding Round – Participants decoded commonly used computer science and IT-related acronyms, testing their knowledge and recall speed.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from I B.Sc Computer Science students. Students formed small teams, fostering collaboration and healthy competition.

The Department of Computer Science successfully organized Technospire 2025, an intra-collegiate talent exploration event, exclusively for first-year students from all departments. The event aimed to spark creativity, encourage collaboration, and enhance students’ soft and technical skills through a series of fun, thought-provoking, and interactive activities.
Events Conducted:
- Tech Quiz
A fast-paced general and tech-based quiz was conducted to test the awareness and knowledge of students. The quiz saw enthusiastic participation, with teams showcasing their logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Dumb Charades (Tech Edition)
Participants were challenged to act out technical terms, gadgets, or famous personalities in technology without speaking. This fun-filled event brought laughter, energy, and team bonding among students.
- Drawing Competition – “Sketch the Future”
With the theme of imagining the future of technology and society, participants submitted creative sketches that reflected innovation, futuristic concepts, and a tech-integrated world. The event provided a platform for artistic expression.
- 1-Minute Speech – “TechJam”
Participants delivered quick, impactful speeches on various tech-related topics such as AI, robotics, the internet, and the digital future. The activity boosted their confidence and public speaking skills.
Technospire 2025 was a grand success, providing a dynamic platform for first-year students to express their creativity, sharpen their skills, and interact beyond the classroom.
