The Department of Business Administration successfully organized a Role Reversal Debate on the theme “Business Solutions” to encourage critical thinking, quick decision-making, and creativity among students. The event aimed to challenge participants to argue from perspectives opposite to their own beliefs, thereby enhancing adaptability and analytical skills—key qualities for future business leaders.

The debate witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. Participants were paired and assigned business-related problem statements such as “Should businesses prioritize profit over sustainability?” or “Is remote work better than office work?”. In the role reversal format, each participant was required to argue for the opposing side of their assigned viewpoint. This unique format tested their ability to research, understand, and convincingly present contrasting perspectives.

The judging panel comprised faculty members from the BBA Department who evaluated participants based on content, clarity, counterarguments, and presentation style. The interactive nature of the debate kept the audience engaged, with many appreciating the fresh approach to discussing contemporary business challenges.
