About EDC<\/h3>

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)<\/strong> of our college is established with the objective of nurturing entrepreneurial skills among students and motivating them to become job creators rather than job seekers. The cell aims to create awareness about entrepreneurship, innovation, and start-up culture by providing a supportive platform for students to transform their ideas into successful ventures.<\/p>

          Career Guidance Program on Financial Planning for Young Women Entrepreneurs<\/h2>\n

          The Entrepreneur Development Cell (EDC)<\/strong>, in association with the Lions Club of Chennai Tambaram Central Charitable Trust<\/strong>, successfully organized a Career Guidance Program on \u201cFinancial Planning for Young Women Entrepreneurs\u201d<\/strong> on 21 January 2026<\/strong> from 10.30 AM to 12.00 PM<\/strong> at the Seminar Hall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

          The program aimed to empower young women students with essential knowledge on financial planning, budgeting, savings, and investment strategies required for entrepreneurial success. The session focused on building financial awareness and confidence among aspiring women entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

          The program was led by Ms. Janifer Irudhayaraj<\/strong>, Resource Person from the Lions Club of Chennai Tambaram Central Charitable Trust<\/strong>. She delivered an insightful and interactive session highlighting the importance of financial discipline, business planning, risk management, and smart investment practices. She also motivated the students to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career option and guided them on managing finances effectively during the initial stages of business.<\/p>\n

          The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, especially young women aspiring to become entrepreneurs. The session included practical examples, real-life experiences, and interactive discussions, which made the program highly engaging and informative.<\/p>\n
