Our college has been functioning as an approved Study Centre and Examination Centre for the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), formerly Centre for Distance Education (CDE), of Bharathidasan University. The Examination Cell has been actively coordinating academic and examination activities for distance education learners by following the rules and regulations prescribed by the university.
Role as a Study Centre
As a recognized study centre, our college provides:
- Admission guidance for distance education programmes
- Academic counselling sessions
- Student support and mentoring
- Distribution of study materials and information
- Guidance for assignments, internal assessments, and project work
The Centre for Distance and Online Education of Bharathidasan University offers various UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, MBA, and MCA programmes through distance mode.
Role as an Examination Centre
The Examination Cell efficiently conducts semester and annual examinations for distance education students according to the university schedule. The following activities are regularly managed:
- Hall allocation and seating arrangements
- Verification of hall tickets and student identity cards
- Appointment of invigilators and examination staff
- Receipt and secure handling of question papers
- Conduct of theory and practical examinations
- Collection and dispatch of answer scripts
- Maintenance of attendance records and confidential document
